It’s a day filled with activities and events to inspire all ages, and it's totally FREE! The city centre campus comes together, and there’s a jam-packed schedule of experiences to take part in, including:
- A visit to our racetrack to compete against a self-driving car.
- A chance to control a bionic arm and complete challenges against family and friends.
- A colourful and dramatic chemistry demonstration, with whooshes and bangs!
- A chance to score big points and explore iconic North East landmarks on a collaborative pinball table.
- Explore interactive space exhibits, learn about telescope manufacturing, and chat to an astronomer about the wonders of the universe.
- Build and code a robot to move, speak, flash lights and even race!
- Discover ingenious ways to turn recycled materials into eye-catching kites.
Plus meet the experts at the forefront of their fields, from poets and performers to scientists and engineers!
